
Caleta de Fuste was mainly designed to serve as a tourist destination, and the region boasts year round sunshine with almost no rainfall. This makes Caleta de Fuste an ideal destination to soak up the sun.
Caleta de Fuste’s large beach is made up of golden sand that was specially bought into the region. Unlike many other man-made beaches, this one has remained intact over time.
The region also boasts of some very good hotels which face the beach. The Elba Carlotta and the Sheraton are amongst many other luxury hotels that line the beautiful beaches.
The beaches that line the coast of Caleta de Fuste were made by lagoons that were created where solid rock once stood.
Transportation isn’t a problem and one can hop on a bus and get to Puerto Del Rosario in about 20 minutes. Even though there aren’t many taxis in Caleta, they are fairly easy to come by.
In addition to the many holiday homes, resorts, and hotels that line up the region’s coast, Caleta also has two extremely good 18 holed golf courses for the golfing aficionados.
Besides, many of the hotels/resorts offer a number of activities for their guests to indulge in keeping in mind various age groups.
Caleta de Fuste in Fuerteventura is also called El Castillo, Caleta, and Costa Caleta and this often leads to some confusion amongst the regions many visitors.
